Compliance Auditor

Job Introduction

As a Compliance auditor you will undertake audits against the requirement of statutory legislation and our contract in order to identify issues and work towards continually improving standards. This is a new role and our compliance auditors will be regionally based with travel within their allocated regions, flexibility to manage their diary and work from home and occasional travel throughout the UK. The purpose of the role includes:

Role Responsibility

As a Compliance Auditor your responsibilities will include:

 

  • Regional responsibility for reviewing compliance against statutory legislation and the contractual requirements (This includes compliance of our own FM teams, the Client and the Supply Chain)
  • Gathering data that is collated by the lead auditor/QSE Manager and allows the compliance team to make decisions to improve and promote compliance
  • Providing advice and proactively promoting a joint approach to the management of compliance regionally, including health and safety, environmental, contractual and best practice standards.
  • Providing regional support to the wider Sodexo compliance team

The Ideal Candidate

 


◾Experience in auditing in an FM/Estates environment (required)


◾Formal qualification related to auditing in safety, technical compliance and/or environmental (desired)


◾Understanding of the basic requirements of quality management systems (desired)


◾A minimum of HNC/HND related to building or engineering (advantageous)


◾Health and Safety training. Minimum of NEBOSH Certificate level (desired)


◾Exceptional communication skills and ability to coach, influence and negotiate (required)


◾Ability to organise workloads and to prioritise effectively (required)


◾Demonstrable background of improving statutory compliance (required)


◾Full UK driving licence (required)


◾IT Skills (required)


◾Good working knowledge of MS Office, including:

  • Word – create and edit documents and reports
  • Excel – able to use intermediate data analysis tools
  • PowerPoint – intermediate level
