Cleaning and Soft Services Manager

Job Introduction

This is an excellent opportunity to progress your cleaning management career as a subject matter expert for one of our manufacturing contracts.

This is a high performing operation and will require an experienced and innovative manager to continue and develop its success. National remit/travel required (Midlands base ideal)

 

Role Responsibility

  • Oversee the cleaning operation on a national level, supporting Cleaning Managers and Unit teams across the manufacturing, brewery and distribution sites in the UK
  • Lead, develop and advise Cleaning/Soft Services Managers in regards to operational efficiency, consistency, service standards, customer service and compliance.
  • Strategically provide support, solutions and innovation for the soft services offering
  • Ensure the operation is modeled on a “five star” service provision with a focus on providing a high level of customer care
  • Develop and embrace the “one team” culture across all service provision on-site and the directly provided by Sodexo on-site
  • Nurture client relationships in order to develop them for a long term partnership.
  • Develop the service model on an on-going basis to enhance service delivery.
  • Actively enforce relevant statutory, company and site H&S compliance together with the monitoring of related equipment.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience in leading a large, multi-site cleaning or FM operation, ideally within a manufacturing environment
  • IOSH Managing Safely, NEBOSH General Certificate, BICSc COPC or CPSS are desirable
  •  Experience of quality management systems
  •  Track record of maintaining high standards of hygiene within a manufacturing environment
  •  Trained in pest awareness and COSHH
  •  Experience of managing pest control contracts within food and beverage manufacturing plant. Delivery of high level pest control scope and awareness.
  •  Managing team leaders  to achieve defined outcomes
