Cleaning Supervisor

Job Introduction

Sodexo Corporate Services IFM is responsible for the delivery of IFM services to the consolidated offices Diageo at St. James’s Gate.

Reporting to the Cleaning Manager, the Cleaning Supervisor will primarily be responsible the supervision of Cleaning Team and completing cleaning audits using E CAT Auditing System  

Role Responsibility

  • Ensure cleaning staff carry out their duties to an Agreed standard as per Site SLAs
  • Make sure all staff are in the correct areas when assigned to locations
  • Monitor and complete accurate registration of attendances and the rescheduling of cleaning staff to cover absences
  • Take responsibility for making all cleaning staff aware of and familiar with the correct use of all equipment and materials
  • Ensure a timely stock re-ordering process is in place, looking at best value for the Site, monitoring stock take and orders
  • Promote Health and Safety within the team and raise awareness among all staff of appropriate Health and Safety Regulations
  • Take responsibility for the cleaning of a prescribed area of the Site
  • Produce reports and meet regularly with the Site Manager to discuss the provisions and effectiveness of the service
  • in conjunction with the Site Manager, carrying out performance to high standard of cleaning
  • Ensure a reporting system is in place for notifying Equipment Cleaning / Defects to the Site Manager and make sure it passes the safety standards, Pat tested and Tagged
  • Take responsibility for all Cleaning to a high standards
  • Any other duties commensurate with the post.

The Ideal Candidate

  • The ideal candidate will have experience working in a cleaning supervisory and if possible and have proven experience dealing with teams and strong management skills.
  • Fluent English is essential.
  • The role may include some form of strenuous activity and you must have the ability to undertake these if and when required
  • The ideal candidate will have knowledge in the use of chemicals.
