Role Responsibility

  • Providing the highest level of housekeeping service within your area of responsibility in line with the clients’ specifications
  • Responding positively, politely and promptly to all customer requirements and carry out your duties in a professional and courteous manner
  • Providing a range of general cleaning services to include offices/meeting rooms, toilets/showers, laboratories and amenity areas site wide
  • Assisting the Food Service Team and ensuring that the kitchen and service areas are clean and tidy, assisting with waste removal and washing up
  • Ensuring all stocks are replenished in your area of responsibility
  • Making yourself familiar with and follow all company procedures and regulations
  • Participating in the Health and Safety Policy of the company and report any dangers, near misses or hazards you encounter to your Coordinator/Line Manager
  • All offices, toilets, laboratories and amenity areas to be presented in a clean and tidy

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate for this role will have:

  • Previous work experience in customer service employment

Due to the retirement of a valued member of the team Sodexo is looking for a Cleaning Operative to join our highly motivated and experienced team in Swindon. Using cleaning materials and equipment this role is truly hands on. Working as part of the Cleaning team you will be required to work on your own initiative as well as with other members of the team, whilst occasionally being required to help cover periods of absence.

The onsite restaurant has just been refurbished and is a really wonderful modern place to eat and relax during your breaks. The site is also easily accessible based off junction 16 of the M4.

This is a really involved role that will suit a capable team member who likes to use own initiative as well as work as part of a team to achieve goals.
