Cleaning Manager

Job Introduction

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Cleaning Manager to manage the cleaning team for a military site.

Role Responsibility

  • Plan, organise and coordinate all cleaning activity for the contract, ensuring that we deliver a effcient, first class cleaning service.
  • Ensure standards of service detailed in the service level agreement and within the schedules of the contractual terms and conditions are achieved, maintained and developed
  • Grow the cleaning service in order to meet client and commercial expectations whilst maintaining strict budgetary control in line with client and Sodexo expectations
  • Provide leadership and clear direction to direct reports, communicating and developing performance
  • Be accountable for the cleaning service being fully compliant with all legal, regulatory and company policies and procedures
  • Take responsibility for the financial delivery and performance of the cleaning service
  • Manage and develop local strong client and customer relationships
  • Drive service excellence across the cleaning offer

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience of working in a similar role within the cleaning or FM industry
  • Effective communication skills
  • Management knowledge of health & safety
  • Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Knowledge of external cleaning developments and innovations
  • Proven track record of leading, managing and developing a team
