Cleaner - Maternity Cover

Job Introduction

Sodexo Energy & Resources are looking for a skilled Cleaner to join our team at Chrysaor in the centre of Aberdeen to cover maternity leave for an initial 6 month period. The contract term may be extended.

Role Responsibility

  • Ensure all areas are cleaned efficiently and in a timely manner to the required standards - this to include weekly and period tasks
  • Use cleaning chemicals safely as detailed by the Control of Substances Hazardous to health guidelines (COSHH)
  • Report immediately any equipment which is faulty
  • Comply with all security regulations for cleaning materials, equipment and buildings as laid down by client and Sodexo
  • Draw to the attention of the Cleaning Supervisor/GSM  any potential hazards on site or infringements of Health and Safety Legislation
  • Attend training  courses and meetings as is necessary to maintain standards in the contract and assist in carrying  out the job role efficiently
  • Provide cover in other areas in times of sickness and holidays when requested by the Line Manager
  • Report and take necessary action for any incidents of accidents, fire, theft, loss, damage, or other irregularities

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous cleaning experience
  • Prior Knowledge of cleaning chemicals/products
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Methodical approach and good eye for detail

Package Description

  • 20 hours per week at £8.00 per hour
  • Monday - Friday, 17:00 - 20:00
  • Maternity cover for 6 months, with potential for extension
