Cleaner (Evening)

Job Introduction

We currently have an opportunity for a dedicated and hard working cleaner to undertake general office cleaning duties on site during the evening working as part of a small team. Role Responsibility

As a Cleaner you will be responsible for:

  • General cleaning and tidying of office, reception and meeting room areas which will include but not limited to vacuuming of floors, polishing of mirrors, glass and furniture, emptying of bins, dusting of blinds, skirting boards and other fixtures/ fittings.
  • General cleaning of staff kitchenette areas including horizontal and vertical surfaces, kitchen white goods such as microwaves and fridges; sweeping and mopping of floors.
  • Replenish kitchenette supplies such as washing up items, soap and handtowels.
  • Disposal of waste to external bins and ensuring the correct segregation of waste streams.
  • Cleaning  of toilets, hand basins and washroom floors.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

  • Previous cleaning experience
  • Prior knowledge cleaning chemicals/products
  • Good customer service skills
  • Methodical approach and a great eye for detail are essential

Package Description

This is a fixed term contract whilst the department structure is reviewed.  There may be potential to extend this further and opportunities to work additional hours during busier periods or on racedays.

15 hours per week.  Monday to Fridays 18:00 - 21:00 except bank holidays.
