Job Introduction

We are currently looking for an experienced Chef to join our team in Melbourn, Cambridge, working alongside a high profile client. You will take responsibility for your own section of the kitchen, ensuring the prompt service of all meals to the highest standard. You will also be expected to organise the catering team to ensure excellent service standards are being met.

Role Responsibility

  • Ensure that the production, preparation and presentation of food are of the highest quality at all times.
  • Ensure highest levels of guest satisfaction, quality, operating and food costs on an ongoing basis.
  • Knowledge of all standard procedures and policies pertaining to food preparation, receiving, storage and sanitation.
  • To have full awareness of all menu items, their recipes, methods of production and presentation standards.
  • Have excellent knowledge of menu creation, whilst maintaining quality and controlling costs in a volume food business.
  • Be personally responsible for hygiene, safety and correct use of equipment and utensils.
  • Consults daily with Head Chef on the daily requirements, functions and also about any last minute events.

Package Description

£21,000 per annum

Monday - Friday role
