Job Introduction

Role Responsibility
Leading a small team in a busy fast paced environment
Preparing and cooking breakfast, lunch and hospitalities
Baking
Quality checking all food prior to service
Menu planning and costing
Allergen awareness and implementation
COSHH awareness and implementation
Health and safety responsibilities
Leading a team
Motivating and engaging staff
Food safety responsibilities under HACCP
Cash handling
Delivering customer service
Liaising with the on site client
Entering and retrieving data on a computer
Cleaning
Pot wash
Deputising for the manager when required
Ordering and storage of stock
Liaising with suppliers
Training staff
Validation of records and training
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be an extremely reliable and trustworthy person with strong leadership skills and an eagerness to learn and develop. A role model to the team with the ability to manage the day to day running of the kitchen, they will be computer literate and proficient in various Microsoft Office packages. A passion for people with a desire for cooking and innovation, willing to excel in their role. This is a very hands on role and there are no two days the same, they will work well under pressure and deliver results daily whilst living the Sodexo values. Exceptional personal appearance and personal hygiene is required.
