Job Introduction

Role Responsibility

  • Preparation of all food and the serving of all meals to customers and beverages to customers, ensuring great customer service at all times.
  • Ensure that the kitchen and service areas are clean and tidy
  • Ensure that all food and health and safety regulations are followed
  • Washing up duties required

The Ideal Candidate

  • Passion for cooking
  • Good housekeeping skills
  • Experience working in a kitchen environment
  • Great customer service skills

Package Description

- Full time chef

- £12.00 per hour

- Must have knife skill

- Follow Sodexo Health & Safety policy  

- Willing to work evening and weekends

- Willing to enter Sodexo Competitions annually

-  Own bank account

- Chef Qualification

- Eligible to work in the UK

- Working with fresh ingredients and must have excellent eye for detail in the kitchen.

- To be able to place orders on Head chef absents

- Hard working attitude. Good working attitude with other chefs/staff. Understanding of health and safety at work.  Be able to do stock take.

Public Transport

- By car: Easy accessible from the M25, M4 motorway, parking on campus is available for staff only.

- By rail/Tube: Express train come from Waterloo station to Richmond approximately 15 minutes. Tube: District line tube to Richmond, then take the 371 bus outside of station to American University approximately 10 minutes.
