Chef de Partie

Job Introduction

We currently have an opportunity for a Chef de Partie to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a customer focused individual to join a world leading food and facilities management company, which can offer unrivalled opportunities for career progression.

Role Responsibility

  • Responsible in preparation and presentation of all menu items, to ensure that a high culinary Standard is met and that the service is prompt and efficient.
  • Ensuring the company Personal and Food Hygiene, Health and safety standards, policies and procedures are adhered at all times.
  •  To check and receive goods ordered are to the standard and quality required and inform if there is  any discrepancies or items unavailable.
  • To maintain specified standards of food handling and storage & Stock Rotation.
  • Control in all aspects, from portion control to freshness of the product presented and minimise the waste in operation
  • Ensuring the kitchen is clean and tidy.
  • To Support Head chef/Sous Chef in delivering required standard of food, and kitchen operation.
  • Comply at all times with the HR Staff Code of Conduct.
  • To ensure that the uniform provided is worn at all times whilst on duty.
  • Demonstrate good customer service Attitude to our Clients, Staff & Customers.
  • Responsible in maintaining a safe working environment to minimise accidents within the workplace
  • To undergo training courses and to attend any company meetings when necessary.
  • To be prepared to change work methods, patterns to ensure the smooth running of the unit operation.
  • To carry out reasonable management requests.
  • Run any kitchen section to the required standards set by management.
  • Follow the instructions and recommendations from the immediate superiors to complete the daily and required tasks.
