Sodexo is looking for an experienced Chef manager who is really passionate about providing fantastic service and producing amazing, tasty food to join our team in Reading and run the Catering Service from top to bottom.

 

Role Responsibility

    To produce meals and services at the required time to the company’s standard and the client’s satis-faction
     To effectively, manage and lead a catering team within the department and to deliver and maintain a high quality service throughout the catering department 
     To deliver the highest possible standard of cleanliness and environment for customers, visitors and staff within the catering work stream, following and implementing all company food and health and safe-ty procedures
     To deliver the highest possible standard of food standards within the unit, utilising Sodexo systems
     Manage and deliver effective and efficient services that meet contract obligations, KPI’s and agreed company policies and procedures 
     Working to agreed budget for Catering services
     Motivating and leading the catering team, including training, development and performance reviews
     Comply with all Company & Client policies and statutory regulations relating to Health & Safety, safe working practices, hygiene, cleanliness, fire and COSHH. This will include your awareness of any spe-cific hazards in the work place. Follow client/company guidelines with regards to the identification and reporting of health and safety hazards
     To establish and maintain satisfactory relationships with individuals at all levels within the Company and the Client organisation
 

The Ideal Candidate

To succeed as our Chef Manager we ask that you have the following experience/skills:

             Previous experience of catering management

             Experience of managing a team

             Financially astute and experienced in managing budgets

             Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers, clients, and staff at all levels
