Chef Manager (term time only)

Job Introduction

This is a great opportunity offering term time only working. We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Chef Manager to oversee a secondary school student feeding operation. You will lead the team to deliver outstanding catering services to up to 1,000 pupils on site, ensuring that we deliver great food and customer experience.

 

Role Responsibility

  • Manage the delivery of school food services, ensuring that food is delivered fresh and to a high standard across a breakfast and lunch offering
  • Manage and develop a team of 14 to deliver success
  • Ensure the operation is modelled on a “five star” service provision with a focus on providing a high level of customer care
  • Nurture client relationships in order to develop them for a long term partnership.
  • Develop the service model on an on-going basis to enhance service delivery.
  • Actively enforce relevant statutory, company and site H&S compliance together with the monitoring of related equipment

 
 

The Ideal Candidate

  • Craft background as a Chef or Chef Manager essential
  • Previous experience in a similar environment
  • Experience of managing a team within a catering environment
  • Good financial awareness
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Passion for delivering great food and service
  • Knowledge of Food Hygiene and Health & Safety
