Chef, Kitchen Porter, Catering Assistant Opportunities

Job Introduction

At Sodexo we are always looking to recruit talented individuals and our expert catering teams are no exception.  We currently have various opportunities for Chefs, Catering Assistants and Kitchen Porter to join our Independent Education business across various sites in Surrey. If you have excellent customer service skills and passion for the food or services industry this is a fantastic opportunity to develop within a growing business.

Role Responsibility

  • Support the catering operation whether that be through kitchen support, front of house service or the preparation/delivery of food
  • Effectively work with teams to deliver an outstanding service to both client and customers.
  • Ensure all services are delivered to a high standard as per service level agreement, Company policy and current legislation.
  • Establish and maintain satisfactory relationships with individuals at all levels within the Company and the Client organisation.
  • Implement and maintain the Statutory and Company standards of hygiene, health and safety

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience of working within a catering operation as a Chef, Kitchen Porter or Food Service Assistant
  • Passion for delivering great food and service
  • Excellent communication skills and customer focus
  • Knowledge of Food Hygiene and Health & Safety
  • City & Guilds 1 & 2 Catering or NVQ equivalent
