Catering Manager

Job Introduction

This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your catering career. As Catering Manager, you will manage the delivery of catering services for a high profile client in Limerick. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your leadership skills by managing, engaging and developing a team to deliver an outstanding service for client and customers on site.

 

Role Responsibility

  • Efficient management of the daily catering and hospitality services for a 24/7 operation across two buildings, catering for approx. 700 customers from the on site restaurant.
  • Effectively lead, engage and develop a team of 24 to deliver an outstanding service to client, and customers
  • Control and monitor the financial performance of the unit and to maintain costs within pre-budgeted targets.
  • Ensure all food is prepared fresh and to a high standard as per service level agreement, Company policy and current legislation.
  • Establish and maintain satisfactory relationships with individuals at all levels within the Company and the Client organisation.
  • Implement and maintain the Statutory and Company standards of hygiene, health and safety and take any action as is necessary.
     

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience in a catering management role within a similar operation
  • Experience of managing a large team within a catering environment
  • Good financial awareness
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Passion for delivering great food and service
  • Strong adherence to Food Hygiene and Health & Safety
  • Good administrative skills
  • Relevant catering qualifications
