Casual Catering and Retail Assistants

Job Introduction

We currently have various opportunities for Catering Assistants and Retail Assistants to join our new Sodexo contract at Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals.

Working in partnership with the Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals, we are looking for customer focused individuals who are enthusiastic and motivated with the ability to work flexible hours at the Bassetlaw site in Worksop, Nottinghamshire.

Role Responsibility

  • Delivering and maintaining a high standard of service
  • Preparation of food for patients, staff and visitors
  • Collecting orders from patients
  • Operating the till systems, including cashing up and completing paper work at the start and end of shift
  • Cleaning of catering and kitchen equipment.
  • Providing excellent customer service to all consumers
  • Manage and rotate stock complying with Health and Safety and Safe Systems of Work
  • Comply with all the legal and hygiene requirements required in the role

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience in customer facing role
  • Flexible approach to working hours
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Positive attitude with willingness to learn
  • Ability to make an excellent first impression, be proactive, able to multi task, numerate and demonstrate the ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast paced service driven environment

Package Description

Variety of hours available on a casual basis initially.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a recruitment session in February.
