Bid Co-ordinator

Job Introduction

We are currently recruiting for a Bid Co-ordinator to work from offices in Salford Quays or Swindon within Service Operations. You will be responsible for supporting the delivery of winning bids through preparing, producing and reviewing quality bid submissions.

 

Role Responsibility

  • Read and understand RFI or RFP documentation
  • Manage and own the Compliance Matrix as part of the bid process
  • Own client interface and communication via e-portal management
  • Support the proposal review process prior to submission to ensure a complete and high quality submission is delivered
  • Provide technical and graphic design advice and support to bid solution manager following discussions with the graphic designer
  • Responsible for collating “off the shelf” bid responses using BidNet and other research and tailoring to client requirements
  • Identify and insert appropriate case study evidence to support the submission. Identify and source new evidence where it doesn’t exist
  • Develop and maintain the client’s proposal document templates in line with company branding or the agreed format with the BDM/bid solutioning manager and in conjunction with the graphic designers
  • Work with the BidNet manager to ensure continuous refreshment of the bid library with the latest bid and company information, proposal content and examples of best practice.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience in working with senior management to manage delivery of timelines and outputs
  • Excellent design skills with a strong focus on attention to detail
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering multiple projects on time
  • Proven capacity to effectively work within parameters of bid management processes
  • Demonstrated achievement in the coordination and production of bid submissions at RFI, RFP and presentation stages
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage small to medium sized tenders, precise scheduling and multiple and shifting priorities.
  • Excellent proficiency in MS Office and Adobe and at least a strong  working knowledge of InDesign is essential
  • Flexible to work outside of normal working hours on weekdays and weekends when required
