Barista
Job Introduction
We are currently seeking a highly talented and driven person to work in the one of our Dublin sites.
We are looking for someone with excellent organisational skills, the ability to prioritise their workload and have the ability to communicate effectively with a range of audiences.
You will be working as part of a team but you will at times be expected to work independently and under your own initiative.
Role Responsibility
- Preparing and serving coffee to the Company's standards
- Operate till during service periods, check floats and cash up at end of service.
- To assist as directed with all aspects of preparation and presentation to the Company's standards
- To provide an efficient and friendly service to customers in all areas of the catering department.
- To ensure that coffee / food offer is presented and served in a clean, hygienic environment.
- To assist at service times by serving the customer at the counter as directed, to the Company's standard
- To complete all necessary sales controls and documentation for each service.
- To communicate well with customers and demonstrate a helpful attitude at all times.
The Ideal Candidate
Trained Barista / Waiter experience desirable
The ideal candidate will have the ability to work in a team environment and on their own initiative. Experience in dealing with customers on a daily basis and good customer care skills is required, possess good time management, self motivation and have an ability to prioritise and multi task. Previous experience working within a busy environment and knowledge of making different types of coffee is essential along with knowledge of HACCP.
