Bar Supervisor

Job Introduction

Peyton and Byrne contract catering business includes restaurants and cafes located in some of London's most premier visitor attractions such as The National Gallery, the Royal Academy of Arts, Imperial War Museum London, the Institute of Contemporary Arts and the Wallace Collection.

Role Responsibility

The Bar Supervisor assists the Bar Manager to uphold Peyton and Byrne values, a role model for their team, responsible for maintaining the highest standards regarding team member development, guest experience, and financial results.

The Bar Supervisor enriches the Peyton and Byrne experience by being a presence on the floor and effectively building relationships with our guests, confidently handling guest complaints, concerns and service issues with a proactive resolve.

As a Bar Supervisor, you will be assisting the Manager on the smooth day to day operation of the bar, both front and back of house; you will ensure the bar ambience is maintained at its best at all times, and to P&B high standards, by constantly coaching and having development conversations with the team throughout the day.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience as a bar supervisor working in a busy environment;
  • A passion for food and drinks, and a positive attitude;
  • World-class customer service;
  • Excellent English and communication skills;
  • Natural leadership and a real team player;
  • Confidence in taking on more responsibility;
  • Good eye for detail.
