Assistant Brand Manager

We are looking for an Assistant Brand Manager within the UK and Ireland Food Platform to join our team, to work closely with our segments to ensure the brands within their portfolio continue to meet the needs of our clients and consumers.
You will support the Brand Managers and be involved in creating a defined marketing campaign that is rooted in consumer insight and meets the needs of the business commercially and operationally expectations
You will have strong project management skills and collaboration skills
We can be flexible on location as this role can involve some home based working.
Role Responsibility
- Maintaining and updating brand assets ensuring they are aligned with our segments’ and operational needs
- Coordinating the implementation of annual refresh programs and localised brand activity, leasing with relevant Food Platform and Service Operations team for a smooth and timely delivery.
- Working with segments to ensure the brand is deployed to brand standards, assisting in ensuring the success of new site openings
- Gather external and internal insights to support continual improvement and appropriate deployment of services across segments, applying trends and insights to brand activity
- Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams within the Service Operations Team and segment Operations, Supply Chain & Facilities Management Platform across the UK&I for the timely delivery of brand related activities.
- Continuously update own knowledge of existing consumer trends, high street and competitors.
The Ideal Candidate
- Professional experience in the food service industry. Ideally with experience in marketing, service/brand development and operations.
- Experience in project management
- Strong knowledge of the High Street and Foodservice Industry trends
- Strong time management skills / ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
