Administrator (Part Time)

Job Introduction

HMP Addiewell are currently recruiting for a Part Time Administrator. As an administrator, you will assist with the effective running of the shop and stores department on a day to day basis.

Role Responsibility

  • Working between multiple systems – (data maintenance & entry)
  • Ensuring all purchase requests are authorised and approved
  • Creating orders in SAP
  • Continuous maintenance of EPOS system
  • Responsible for vending machine function as a whole (ordering, control and restocking)
  • Assist with stock taking process
  • Assist with physical pick and pack operation when required
  • Undertake duties as required that will contribute to the effective operation of the prison

The Ideal Candidate

Essential skills & experience

  • Be I.T. literate and confident in learning new I.T. packages
  • Have strong communication skills offering a professional and positive approach at all times
  • Have high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Flexible, enthusiastic, self- motivated and driven
  • Able to work unsupported or as part of a team as required
  • For internal candidates, have the endorsement of their line manager to apply

Desirable

  • Previous experience of SAP and EPOS
  • Previous experience of working in a custodial environment

Package Description

Salary - £9,400 plus excellent benefits (including free meals and parking, group discount schemes and pension)

Primarily working hours will be weekdays 8am - 12pm (20 hours per week) however some flexibility required during times of absence.
