Administrator (Business Hub)
HMP Northumberland are recruiting for an Administrator (Business Hub).
You willinput and assist with all typed correspondence including letters, spreadsheets and emails.

This includes various educational and vocational qualifications, as well as a variety of opportunities for residents to learn new skills within our workshops and industries departments. We have textile, engineering and electrical workshops and can offer prisoners experience in horticulture, market gardens, cleaning, waste management and laundry services on site.
Being over 4 miles in circumference, the prison is a vast space with exceptionally kept plantation and currently houses over 1300 residents with a range of sentence terms.

- Deal with all correspondence in/out of the department and distribute to relevant staff/department.
- Input and assist with all typed correspondence including letters, spreadsheets and emails and use any other databases as required.
- Assist with photocopying, faxing, filing within the department.
- Maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Liaise with employees and members of the public in a polite, confident and friendly manner.
- Answer and make phone calls within the department in a polite, confident and friendly manner.
- Assist with all administration duties as and when required.
The Ideal Candidate
- Experience working in a similar environment or role
- Able to operate relevant IT applications
- Experience of working under pressure and to deadlines
- Able to manage competing work priorities
16,000 - 18,000 per annum - 37.5hours per week
