Administration Assistant (Distribution)

Job Introduction

Due to internal promotions, we are currently recruiting for one permanent and one 12 month fixed term Administrator, to join our team at Tillery Valley.

You will provide administrative support to the Distribution function and liaise with the Customer Service team and Despatch department on delivery issues. The team work two different shifts (7:30am - 3:30pm, and 9am-5pm), including bank holidays and so you must have a flexible approach to working hours.  

Role Responsibility

  • Liaise with drivers, customers and supervisor on delivery problems
  • Process shortages co-ordinate redeliveries
  • Use Optrak to route scheduled deliveries and produce delivery paperwork
  • Ensure paperwork is produced and issued for supplier collections & returning TVF products
  • Book 3rd party transport and liaise with Planning on product availability
  • Carry out ‘end of day’ process and produce drivers delivery packs ensuring all paperwork is issued
  • Provide backup and support colleagues with additional admin duties

Desirable

  • Previous experience in a transport environment would be beneficial
