Account Manager

We are looking to recruit an Account Manager for one of our Global Pharmaceutical contracts to support all sites based in the North of the UK. This is an exceptional role that will see you utilise your influencing and management skills.

A full clean driving licence is essential for this role.

Role Responsibility

• Effectively manage the Site Service management teams, liaising with both technical and functional experts from within Sodexo to ensure that exemplary facilities services are provided at all sites in remit; ensuring the delivery of Hard, Soft, Technical and Project based activities on all sites.
• Accountable for £15million turnover
• Manage through Site Leads the account finances
• Own and drive local Account Strategies agreed with Account Director; and driven through the site teams
• Ability to lead and support asset review studies; e.g. maintenance reviews, assets condition survey’s
• Manage delivery through matrix management teams whilst promoting an ethos of one team to instil a culture of continuous improvement.
• To be responsible for the UK operating area and leading a management team to ensure delivery against Key Performance Indicators.
• Act as the primary representative of Sodexo within the defined operating area by the effective management of all Managers to ensure the delivery of both qualitative and quantitative results
• Foster long term profitable relationships with GSK to maintain existing business and identify new business opportunities by delivering operational excellence
• Provide direction and expertise to the operating area by promoting Sodexo strategies and the overall Account Strategy in order to uphold the Company mission and values

The Ideal Candidate

• Significant leadership experience in a matrix management environment
• Previous experience of working within a Pharmaceutical and/or manufacturing environment
• Technical background and experience of leading a successful technical team
• Strong financial acumen and the ability to develop this in others
• Inspirational leader
• IFM /TFM experience
