Due to business growth, Sodexo are recruiting a new Account Communications Manager to join our Corporate Services segment.

As Account Communications Manager, you will plan, develop and deliver a comprehensive communications strategy for 2 prestigious and high profile accounts across all international regions in the contract’s scope.  You will engage a broad range of stakeholders to meet the joint strategic objectives of our partnership.

You will be required to travel across the EMEA region as and when required, in particular Sweden.  With no fixed place of work you can be based in the UK or across EMEA region, with onsite presence required.

Role Responsibility

  • Working with the client’s communications specialists to develop and implement joint strategic communications activities to support the effective transition of the Vested FM partnership
  • Ensuring all relevant communications activities for transition to the Vested model and on-going operational activity are appropriately captured and managed within the Vested contract itself
  • Identification and analysis of all relevant stakeholders and on-going management of their communication needs
  • Developing, implementing and monitoring a framework to support local Sodexo site FM teams to effectively engage with consumers and end users on site to enhance the overall Workplace Experience
  • Developing and delivering communication activities designed to build employee engagement
  • Working with the client’s communications specialists to support on-going change programmes
  • Working with the local Sodexo site FM teams and central account team to identify and share good news, positive feedback and success stories
  • Working with the Sodexo central account team to identify communication needs to effectively engage with the retained organisations
  • Supporting on-going business development and growth opportunities
  • Measuring the impact of communications and recommending or implementing improvements where appropriate
  • Keeping up to date with best practice from the communications industry and bringing new approaches and channels
  • Ensuring the value of Sodexo’s quality of life services is understood and recognised by the client, consumers and the Sodexo teams
  • Provide coaching and support for the Sodexo teams on communications best practice

The Ideal Candidate

Professional:

  • Experience of internal/corporate/consumer/client communications, either in-house or agency, ideally working within a complex environment
  • Professional or higher qualification in internal communications or corporate communications
  • Experience in comms support for complex change programmes
  • Understanding of change management techniques and supporting communications interventions
  • Experience of employee transfer
  • Experience of developing and executing communications plans that use a wide variety of media
  • Creative flair to develop engaging communications through a wide range of tools and channels
  • Strong skills and experience in managing projects – so that plans are well executed and that stakeholders are fully engaged
  • Excellent command of English language and keen attention to detail
  • Experience of working in a multi-national environment
  • Desired knowledge of the FM / pharma industries
