Technical Security Architect

Job Introduction

Reporting to the Regional CISO, UK&I you would develop vision, principles, and patterns for the future of the Sodexo information system and network to ensure it is fit for purpose and secure.

You would confidently analyse and adjust the implementation of the design as per situational contexts (e.g., contract requirements, site specificities, etc.) and reaching the right compromise with IT delivery & Cyber security and effectively produce particular IT & Cyber security patterns to define technical information security rules and policies applicable to Sodexo

This an amazing Opportunity for an Individual who is highly experienced in technical IT & Cyber security.

Role Responsibility

 
  • Being part of the design authority function for the region, you will review and analyse existing network and infrastructure designs, and make recommendations for the improvement in security through redesign and adjustments
  • Review and vet any deviation from the standard operating model and target architecture defined by the design authority with the support of other architects across the IT department
  • Lead strategic insight and overview of business case justifications and ROI analysis for IT security spending and initiatives. You will draw on your extensive knowledge of current IT best practice and innovations to help steer our security technology roadmap.

The Ideal Candidate

 8 years experience in technical IT & Cyber security roles

 Experience of designing secure network and infrastructure architectures

 Experience with network protocols and concepts (layer 3/4 protocols, good understanding of layer 7, firewalling, switching, routing, etc.)

Experience with Microsoft Enterprise access model and AD tier model

Knowledge of the Zero Trust concept

 Proficiency in core information security principles (access control, operating system security, vulnerability management, etc.)

 Experience of communicating technical information to a non-technical audience

Ability to work in a matrixed team and independently

Ability to influence people

Ability to understand implications upstream and downstream of design choices Rigorous and organised

Versatile to deal with unexpected changes

Knowledge of security standards (Cyber Essentials, ISO27001, ISAE 3402, etc.) is a plus

Experience of hardening operating systems is a plus

Experience in public Cloud (Azure, AWS) is a plus

Experience in DevOps/Dev Sec Ops is a strong plus
