Support Manager (Catering)

Job Introduction

We are currently looking to recruit an Area Support Manager to assist the Account Manager in the delivery of catering and cleaning services across 19 sites between Newcastle and Nottingham.

Role Responsibility

Assist in the efficient management of catering and cleaning services for up to 20 contracts.
Supervise the managers across the contracts to ensure a high quality service is delivered at all times
Deputise for various units managers in their absence
Conduct audits according to relevant statutory, company and site policies, procedures and current legislation.
Ensuring all food is prepared to a high standard as per service level agreement, Company policy and current legislation.
Implement and maintain the Statutory and Company standards of hygiene, health and safety and take any action as is necessary.

The Ideal Candidate

Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within contract catering
Experience of providing managerial support across multiple sites
Excellent communication skills
Knowledge of Food Hygiene and Health & Safety
City & Guilds 1 & 2 Catering or NVQ equivalent
Full UK Driving licence and car essential
