Mobile Laundry Operative

What you’ll do:     

To conduct a variety of tasks, within specified areas, as directed by the cleaning supervisor/manager

To co-ordinate and work alongside the team within the designated operational area

 To collect and deliver bedding supplies to designated areas on time and checking quality of linen

 You may be required to work in other areas within the cleaning sector due to business requirements.

Accountabilities

 Undertake all required training in relation to all aspects of the cleaning service delivered to the client/customer. As requested,

 Complete a schedule of tasks, as directed by the cleaning supervisor or manager

 Wear the company uniform whilst at work, maintaining a tidy appearance at all times

 Wear any items of personal protective equipment as specified by the cleaning supervisor/manager

 Comply to all Company and client/customer policies/procedures in relation to housekeeping/infection control/security

  Ensure that all requirements in relation to COSHH are adhered to, as specified by the cleaning supervisor/manager

  Adhere to correct method of tasks as directed via the GREAT cards, task cards and pictorial task cards

Ensure that the site policy is adhered to at all times

Ensure that all requirements of the specified Tasks, are carried out, as directed by the cleaning supervisor or manager

 To report all faults in relation to machinery/equipment or vehicles to the cleaning supervisor or manager

 To report all defects to the cleaning supervisor or manager

 To carry out any other reasonable request, as specified by the cleaning supervisor or manager

 Willingness to maintain confidentiality on all related matters.

What you bring: 

·       Previous experience in a similar role, with knowledge of cleaning solutions and their uses 

·       Excellent customer service and communication skills 

·       Can work at a fast pace and adapt to change when needed 

·       Be a team player and take instruction

Package Description

  • Applicant must be over 25
  • Hold a full clean driving licence
  • Have at least 2 years relevant driving experience
  • 35 hours per week
  • £9.50 per hour
  • Monday-Friday 8:00-15:00
  • Full protective uniform supplied
