You will be responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient planning and service delivery of all events offers to the client’s agreements. 

This is an operations focussed role where you will manage site specific conference & banqueting bars and hospitality services including teams, leading by example and taking responsibility when needed. Relevant events delivery experience will be key to your success; you will be highly organised with great attention to detail and the ability to prioritise workloads effectively. Role Responsibility

  • Manage site specific conference & banqueting bars and hospitality services including teams in accordance with the contract and SLA’s in place.  
  • Managing Hospitality operations on Match days and C&E  
  • Drive hospitality retail sales and profit performance through management and monitoring of KPI’s; sales , labour, margin and expenses and line management of the hospitality manager  
  • Control all match day and non-match day staffing operations via communications with the Staffing Manager  
  • Ensure that costs and expenditure are controlled in line with budget  
  • Develop long term client relationships to enhance the retention of current clients and customers, gain referrals for new business and attract new customers.  
  • Lead and manage the C& E team and actively promote Everton FC for both internal and external clientele  
  • Undertake duty management and operational shifts as required  
  • Control GP through ensuring stock is managed and liaise as appropriate with all depts.  
  • Seek new ways to drive revenues and maximise sales across all operational departments i.e. Hospitality F&B, and C&E  
  • Ensure the unit complies with all company and client policies, site rules and statutory regulations i.e. licencing laws, Trading Standards and EHO.  
  • Manage the H&S operational requirements for the departments  
  • Facilitate a high support, high challenge performance management culture that motivates an engaged workforce 

The Ideal Candidate

Essential 

  • Demonstrable experience in a large-scale events environment 
  • Proven experience in managing P&L accounts and driving profitability 
  • Operational knowledge, skills and experience in managing multi service operations 
  • Management of large and diverse teams 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers, clients and employees at all levels 
  • Demonstrate resilience when faced with conflicting business challenges 
  • Ability to interpret and utilise varied financial and commercial information 
  • Achieve set, standards and operate to performance criteria; for example health and safety, hygiene 

Desirable 

  • IOSH managing safely qualification 
  • CIEH Level 3 qualification 

 

Package Description

£24,960pa + great benefits 

Location: Everton Football Club 

Permanent 

Work Pattern – 40 hrs pw 5/7 to include weekends and evenings
